For those in ministry there are often innumerable needs pressing in on this side and pushing there on that side. Sometimes a minister just needs a community that understands his or her stresses and struggles in ministry.
That’s exactly why Alabama Baptist Religious Education Association (ABREA) was created — for those who serve in the area of adult Christian education and/or discipleship.
Started more than 40 years ago, ABREA “exists to provide fellowship, continuing education and networking opportunities for staff members of Southern Baptist churches,” according to its website. (continued…)
